ASPS Commends ‘Fantastic Four’ of Breast Procedures

At the last American Society of Plastic Surgeons annual convention in Chicago, a unique study found that 99 percent of the women who had their breast surgeries would do so again. This makes the satisfaction rate of the top four breast procedures, including: augmentation, lift, combination lift/augmentation and reduction, the highest among cosmetic surgery procedures.

Researchers and surgeons were happy, but not exactly surprised to find these results. They themselves had experienced many success stories with their own patients’ breast procedures.

The study also found that women prefer a fuller breast shape at the top of their breasts, rather than at the bottom, where the fullness naturally occurs. This is most likely due to the design of today’s bras.
